There’s something morally ambigious about using a contemporary art installation as the backdrop to your #OOTD, but in theme with the bright colours I couldn’t quite help it.
These pictures were taken in the middle of Eileen Simpson and Ben White’s collaborative ‘Open Music Archive’, which consisted of 8 turntables playing music from the last year commercial recordings can be retrieved for public use – 1962. If you can pop along to Talbot Rice for British Art Show 8, its absolutely delightful: the sounds resonate over and above you in the domed room. Keep your eyes peeled for a post about #BAS8, currently touring.
If you havent already noticed, Monki is slowly becoming a favourite brand of mine. Through their bright colours and block shapes, Monki recreates classic Skandi street style. Effortlessly cool and wearable (can we say pockets everyone?) I am loving this skirt and cant wait to showcase more of their products.
